Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently working with CNBC. She is a co-anchor for CNBC's shows 'Squawkon on the Street', as well as Closing Bell'. Although she's an Ohioan but she didn't have a keen interest in markets and currencies during her time in college. She worked as an intern at ForexTV.com while she was an undergraduate at New York University. It was her first encounter in business news from this internship. She then earned an advanced degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. The course was 4 months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. When she returned to the US after which she started to work for Bloomberg's offices in New York. She later became a TV anchor. CNBC employed her as a correspondent in December 2013. After serving as co-anchor for "Worldwide Exchange" as well as Power Lunch', she was recruited by CNBC in December 2013. She then got the position at Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen has been co-anchoring 'Squawk on the Street' since the year 2014. Her main goal since joining CNBC has been global news for consumers.
